A delicious alternative to meat for the vegetarian barbecue lover. Can be enjoyed fresh from the flame or as it cools throughout the evening when it flakes in the hand.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp Water
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 4 fillets salmon Approximately 500g total weight
Instructions
- Combine marinade ingredients
- Pour marinade over salmon fillets, cover and leave for 2 hours
- Barbeque for 10-15 minutes, depending on the heat of the barbeque and thickness of the fillets, until the flesh has just turned opaque
